Google Analytics 360 we ae used to analyze our data and based on analyzed data we are building a strategy for our app. It has a lot of features like dashboarding, user path analysis, event analysis, and many more which help us to make a better decision in the development of the app. Furthermore, we are using this software across multiple departments like product, marketing, analytics, and category multi-purpose It is like one software is solves our all problems of different departments.
  • Data Integration part since it is a google product so it will be easily connect with Bigquery since our company data is on Bigquery so it will be very easy for us to connect with google analytics to analyze the data furthermore without spending too much time in the data integration part compared to others software.
  • For our marketing department it will be very easy for us to run campaign and track each campaign through google analytics 360 which is easily combine with google marketing platform.
  • From Business perspective Category team are using this tool for analyzing data for retention our customer how they were performing, churn rate of our platform, lead tracking.
  • The pricing model of Google Analytics 360 is the key factor which is higher than the other platforms but since our company data is on Bigquery so we have ignored the pricing model and gone for Google Analytics software for ease of convenience
  • From Business perspective, product features were less in Google Analytics as compared to others where you can just plug and play and your dashboard is ready. Here various metrics were given but the complexity was that if you are not aware of those metrics you can find the correct insights.
  • A lot of documentation was given but you can't have enough time to read all the documents to use every feature of Google Analytics 360 since very few training videos were provided to learn. I think they have to increase the videos parallelly with a document. If you are not aware of some features then you need to take the help of the customer support team of Google to understand the features otherwise if you were reading the document then it will take a lot of time which is very painful.
As I have discussed previously their insights were very useful. The second thing is since it is a Google product you will connect the data very easily from other platforms like Bigquery, Google Drive, etc. and even you can connect Google marketing platform. through this tool, you can track your live campaign how they were performing, and how it will be engaging your customer as well.

This tool was mainly used within our company to identify any issues on a website, when the websites were quite large and typically e-commerce focussed. This tool allowed us to not have any limits on the amount of data that we were capturing, which meant we could review the data and provide accurate recommendations on where there are further opportunities for the client / on the website. Without this tool, the client wouldn't have been able to manage their customer data and therefore wouldn't be able to make strategic marketing decisions with confidence and accuracy.
  • Provides a visualisation of funnels
  • Allows for unfiltered data, providing you with confidence
  • No limits of goals and objectives when you are syncing up to other tools such as Google Optimize 360
  • Generally I think there is a lot you can do within the tool, but as it is a Google product it means there is limited support - something which I think lets all of the platform stacks down
  • There could be more visual signifiers to identify if a feature is a normal or 360 feature. This would mean you can really get to grips with what the extra more advanced elements are
I think this is a great platform as long as there is a dedicated team which is going to spend reviewing the data and also taking out insights from it, making it beneficial. It was well suited for me when working with a client that had a very large amount of traffic, with a large range of complex products on offer. This tool allowed us to be able to do more with the data and segmenting it more which ultimately drove our relationship forward, but also the results that we saw.

It's being used by most of the organization but was decided on and managed by a single department. Some business problems it solves for us is the ability to get data out and into other systems like 3rd party visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBi. Another problem that it solved is that it's easier to find and train talent because most have experience with the free version of Google Analytics.
  • Ease of use
  • Train and documentation
  • Cost compared to other solutions
  • Integration with other products or Google solutions
  • Account, property, and view limitations for large enterprises.
  • No historical data applied to newly created views.
  • Sending data to 2 or more properties easily using GTM.
  • No granular user permissions compared to Adobe Analytics.
For most companies or colleagues I would recommend Google Analytics 360. It's affordable, scalable, and because of the deep integrations with leading ad platforms like Google Ads 360, it is a very smart option. Depending on how detailed or advanced your analytics implementation needs to be GA360 has workarounds to solve most needs. I just recommend plan as much as you can before data collection to take advantage of filters and views otherwise make sure to have Big Query connected so you can always analyze historical data with changing filters.

Google Analytics 360 [(formerly Google Analytics Premium)] has helped in addressing the organizational data & analysis. It has been a supportive tool to get the analytics at one go. This formulates the data, collects the data & makes it user friendly so that it will be ready to use data for management decisions and workings.
  • Easy Access of Data
  • Monitoring data at frequent intervals
  • Segregation of Data
  • Funnel Analysis
  • Cost of the product
  • Few features not user friendly
  • Data freshness
Google Analytics 360 [(formerly Google Analytics Premium)] holds good position in our company to generates reports based on analytics and data. this is very useful to review and take decision based on that. Cost wise this is on higher side but its reports are accurate and stand as a strong foundation for any matter. it has access to raw data which helps to go back to root for comparison.

Google Analytics 360 helps us know which channel to target potential customers and which website content to optimize. It has accurate metrics, demographic information about potential customers and makes sure that you can control what content should be presented to visitors; its website is beneficial. An excellent tool that contains all the information about the performance of your network resources so you can quickly solve problems and decide how to increase your revenue.
  • It is an excellent cloud analytics platform that is easy to install and configure and easy to deploy and use, allowing us to measure web traffic and other tools.
  • It is an entirely online tool; it does not take up hard disk space like other desktop tools.
  • Since this tool is draggable, Google is constantly adding more features.
  • Even beginners who do not have a custom dashboard can get information. If there is a problem somewhere on the site that needs to be investigated, Google Analytics 360 will notify you.
  • It would be nice to have a solid help section or training tools.
  • Most of my toolbar customizations are gone, and the last UI I didn't like was changing the number to a percentage.
Google Analytics 360 allows businesses of all sizes to track user behavior, gain marketing insights, and much more. Modern tools for conversion and attribution testing can help businesses both large and small improve user experience, maximize their digital strategies, and better measure performance. Your content, your products, services and more. It can help you understand what's working and what's not; it's a comprehensive tool that can give you insights into what's happening on the web and in apps.

The cost of Google Analytics 360 is high, even in a large company in my country. At the moment we are testing if there is a good cost-benefit relationship and if the tool suite really improves our work, reducing the technical hour's costs of the team. We think this technology is highly justifiable for large companies that have e-commerce. It provides great analytical power concerning the presented results. The value of the contract includes technical support and training for the team, which is very important.
We are testing in a single area for now. So far, we've identified that the number of columns to export and the number of custom variables can bring impactful results. We have been using Google Analytics to track user behavior on our websites. The resulting data helps to understand user behavior and other data, such as which platform the user accessed our site from. It also helps our company know which banners we are getting the most leads from and which leads are converting to customers which can support further analysis for our CRM.
  • Offers premium tools to get to know your data better, with more insight into larger sets of data.
  • Works great with other Google Suite products.
  • Helps track sessions, user bounce rates and session duration.
  • Some competing products have better user behavior analysis.
  • In the funnels, you can see the dips, but you cannot check the seasonality of the funnel conversion at once.
  • The cost is high for companies that are not specifically e-commerce and Marketing.
Google Analytics 360 (formerly Google Analytics Premium) is much more complete than its free version as you won't get the sample data you get in regular Google Analytics.
If you're a marketing, advertising or e-commerce company with multiple sites and products and receiving a lot of data, Google Analytics Premium is fantastic. You will have a great set of tools that will help you to perform different operations and generate reports on your data. These insights would help you make better decisions about your product.
It's too sophisticated a tool for a non-commercial company. Much of your data, reporting and analysis can be done in other tools (or using data science).

Most importantly, this service taught me to monitor many parameters of site performance and ad integrations. I started to get a better approach to the impact of demographics on marketing companies, etc.
  • Easy integration
  • Great dashboard with lots of charts
  • Easy way to optimize my site
  • I didn't like customer support
  • Google Analytics 360 is quite expensive
  • It is not the most understandable for beginners
Seeing which pages of our site are the most popular. The reporting incoming traffic tool also helps me a lot in my work.

Our organization recently upgraded to Google Analytics 360 after seeing the added features and benefits it adds from the less recent version. The software is heavily used by our IT and Marketing teams in order to see trends within the website such as which pages have the highest amounts of views, view times, and exit rates. This helps us make updates in order to best serve our customers.
  • Measuring user interaction across multiple platforms.
  • Custom dimensions.
  • Advanced analytic reports.
  • More tutorials.
  • Easier integration with Google Tag Manager.
Google Analytics is a great way to get a broad view of your website. Google Analytics 360 has more advanced features than the classic version making it easier to capture leads and your customer's sales processes. With some training, it can be very helpful however some users may need additional help navigating and learning how to use the site.

Google Analytics 360 helps our nonprofit organization really examine the way that we are interacting with our customers in our community at large. it’s really important for small nonprofits such as ours to be able to engage with our data and the way that we are affecting the folks that we serve.
  • Google Analytics 360 helps us look at our marketing from a bird’s eye view so that we can problem solve.
  • The software is great at helping us engage from a consumer’s viewpoint.
  • Google Analytics 360 works great with our existing Google Suite products.
  • It was a little complicated to integrate but once we spent some time with it, it was woven into our workflow.
  • The Analytics portion has a lot of firewalls that can make it hard to add multiple users seamlessly.
  • Noooo amount of Google customer support.
it’s great for folks that already use Google Suite because it’s Well designed and easy to use just like all of Google’s products. If you have experience with one, you have a shared visual language in order to master another product. Its less appropriate if you need a lot of hand-holding in order to integrate software.

We use Google Analytics [360 (formerly Google Analytics Premium)] primarily for our digital marketing and website experience design groups. We use the data to better understand how our users are interacting with our websites and what business actions we might be able to take in order to improve their experience. We also use it to understand overall marketing campaign effectiveness and how the interaction between campaigns can lead to goal conversions.
  • Easy and quick installation and set up
  • Great out of the box features and functionality
  • Ability to add custom dimensions and use those in reporting
  • Custom dimensions cannot be easily integrated into standard reports
  • Saving and sharing views and dashboards can be a bit clunky
  • Inability to track PII effectively makes it, at times, an inferior solution
Google [Analytics 360 (formerly Google Analytics Premium)] is really good for companies looking to better understand user behavior and how your customers and end users are interacting with your website. You can understand trends of your data (which day of the week is busiest?) and find trouble areas where customers are getting stuck. Google Analytics [360] should not be used as a system of record or source of truth regarding financials or other numbers that need to be reported with 100% certainty.

GA was used to track customer activity on our website and mobile app to determine the most frequent customer journey when they are abandoning their search and purchase, and trying to determine what can we do to improve the flow by reducing friction. We also had it plugged into our Google Ad spend as well to determine which ads and campaigns were the most effective as well. There was a sizable Google Ad spend.
  • Reliably tracked our customers.
  • Was able to integrate the Google Ad keyswords and campaigns with customer journey.
  • Data availability
  • The data wasn't available at a certain time everyday.
  • The format of the data is difficult to use.
  • Support is poor.
If you have a complex web and mobile site and need to track what people are doing, AND have the capacity for a large enough team to integrate this data into your warehouse, this is a great platform. There are also some handy reports on the GA website that one gets for free that are helpful.

Google Analytics Premium is used by many of our clients who have large businesses and often have e-commerce stores. It enables us to accurately view our client's web visitors and what they do on the website
  • The ability to produce reports at fast speeds.
  • Very good customer support and guidance.
  • Long list of integrations.
  • It is very expensive and not always an option for some businesses.

We use Google Analytics Premium across the entire education division of Wiley. My team manages it and it’s used primarily for web analytics, UX, and measured performance. We leverage to produce KPI reports, benchmarking, and identifying performance trends. Also, we review a good deal around user flows and behavior across our entire portfolio of sites and landing pages. We recently started using the attribution tool.
  • User Segmentation by contextual, demographic and site behavior
  • Advanced Analysis tool (beta)
  • Visualization of user flows
  • Lack of historical or retroactive revisions
Google Analytics is well suited for use across the department where we have varied levels of users...from beginners to power users. The UI is easy to navigate and the paradigm of user segments works well in parsing performance and results. Being a transitional site, we find Google easier to tell the digital story of our user behavior.

Our clients use it across all their departments and across the whole business. The challenges it solves are data democratization and visibility on key metrics for digital marketing.
  • Unsampled data
  • Unlimited user access
  • SQL querying within the tool (without bigquery)
  • Blank canvas report building (without data studio)
Marketing focused companies really can use Google Analytics Premium because it's designed for marketing analysis and improvements to digital marketing activities and campaigns. However, for product-focused companies, Google Analytics Premium might be overly simplistic, as it's designed for marketers.

It is used by the marketing and web department of our organization. It supports decision making based on customer behaviors, most visited pages, conversions and conversion rates based on marketing investments. It also supports marketing budget distribution based on sources of traffic.
  • Traffic sources
  • Advertising conversions
  • More complex, so training is needed
  • It's expensive
It is great to understand your customer traffic sources and behaviors in general, as well as for specific marketing efforts such as campaigns with landing pages. However, you need someone who understands what they are doing when building reports to fully understand the information to improve your marketing and see better results.

We are utilizing Google Analytics Premium to track the traffic on our website. This information helps us see what articles are performing the best, as well as what pages our readers are engaging with the most. We are able to better determine what content our readers pay the most attention to, as well as how our sponsored content and paid advertisements are performing.
  • Our company likes that visitor traffic is available in real-time.
  • We are happy to utilize the calendar feature to segment data by the dates of our choosing.
  • Tracking the number of visitors to any page of our website allows our editorial staff to better understand the content that our readers enjoy.
  • So far, we have not faced any issues with Google Analytics Premium.
For businesses that work in real-time data and content, I think this program is a great option. I work in publishing and we create daily content for our readers. We are able to access the page views and time spent on pages, which helps us determine how our content performs and what we should focus on.

We used Google Analytics mainly to understand the traffic of our clients' websites, we have implemented it for multiple client websites. It gives us real-time data to understand how the website is performing and its accessibility in terms of keywords, page views, page clicks. It is easy to integrate and helps a lot in creating strategy for our SEO and helps in building campaigns accordingly.
  • Very easy to use and set up.
  • Gives in-depth analysis.
  • Representation of the data in the form of charts that are so explanatory they can be used in meetings.
  • Cannot integrate with some of the other applications.
  • Free version has less scope.
  • Using in mobile app is not user friendly and difficult.
Google Analytics Premium is well suited for dealing with websites/products with a good amount of traffic and higher infrastructure. This is not suited for smaller websites with less content or traffic. The premium version provides good results on the huge content that the website has.

The platform is user-friendly, easy to learn and there is a lot of documentation. The thing is that Google does not actually give us support, all the contracts must be through a Google partner. The partner we are working with is great, they have a lot of experience and they are very supportive. We use this product for the following reasons:

  • Improve business process outcomes
  • Enhance decision making
  • Reduce time to market
  • Create internal/operational efficiencies
  • Improve business process agility
  • Improve customer relations/service
  • Product functionality and performance
  • Strong services expertise
  • Strong consulting partnership
  • It would be great for Google to provide more support
  • Initial training was nice, would be better if someone were to instruct
  • Connecting to Salesforce could be better

Google Analytics Premium is used by more than half of my clients in the eCommerce and retail verticals. It is used as the source of truth for web analytics and marketing performance, including eCommerce revenue and cross-channel reporting.
  • Unsampled web analytics data
  • Robust marketing 360 integration
  • Easy-to-use, fast reports
  • Powerful customization options
  • Some customization limitations like fiscal calendar and standard report customization
  • Minimal customer support through the company provider
Google Analytics Premium is great for enterprise businesses that have a standard eCommerce or experiential website. It is less well suited for highly customized businesses or non-standard commerce/transaction process. It's great for small and large teams, and ease of implementation is much simpler than the competition. Developer Guides are user friendly and help the tech team get the suite up and running.

Google Analytics is used across our organization to track traffic and visualize data patterns across our multiple properties. It has helped us in our multi-touch attribution.
  • Robustness: There are many ways to pivot and filter data.
  • Speed: Google's software allows you to quickly query data in a very seamless way.
  • User interface: The design leaves something to be desired, and is not for beginners. Controls are sometimes unintuitive.
  • Onboarding: A more friendly experience for first-time users, with explanatory text when you hover.
Google Analytics Premium is well suited for larger tech-enabled companies that have significant web traffic and a need to regularly track web attribution. It's also important for those trying to improve SEO.

We use it in tandem with all digital and print marketing efforts. We started off on original Google Analytics (free version), but moved to premium when the ROI case became obvious to us. It's indispensable in tracking results of landing pages, marketing campaigns, and user flow between our multiple web properties. We're able to create custom management reports that auto send to interested stakeholders via Google's Mail Server.
  • It's a Google product, so it strikes a great balance between usability and advanced functionality
  • Data is new and nearly constantly updated. I.e. you had a several day lag with Google Analytics Basic. Now, you can immediately analyze newsletter campaign results
  • Integrates with CRM software so we can tell if a prospect visits our site(s) after we initiate a touchpoint (email, call, etc.)
  • I suppose it could be free
  • Oddly, we're able to stump our account reps with our use case. It takes them some time to answer our questions
  • The insights are only as good as your set up. I wish Google provided consulting that went along with their product
If you know what you're doing, have experience with digital marketing, and are fluent in analytics, this will be perfect for your team. Don't expect the software to solve your marketing problems for you. It's a tool, much like a hammer. The hammer won't pound the nail for you. If you have the infrastructure, give Analytics premium a try.

Google Analytics 360 is being used in my organization for mainly web analytics across the entire organization. Our GA data is our "truth" data when it comes to other web metrics that we may receive from other marketing tools. It helps to address the what? questions when it comes to our website. Things like: What are people doing? What pages are they visiting? Etc. We then use additional Voice of Customer data to complement GA data and answer why? questions. Such as: Why are they spending so much time on this page? Why aren't they watching this video? Etc.
  • Additional user management, which is key for large organizations that have numerous users.
  • Higher data processing to process larger amounts of data and store it longer.
  • Formal contract, which provides an actual point of contact for ensuring the service is running as it should and provides service level guarantees.
  • Higher sampling limit for reporting.
  • Additional integration with DoubleClick.
  • Higher limit for custom dimensions and metrics.
  • Data driven attribution modeling function.
  • Although it is getting better, there is more room for the tool to advise on missed features enabled among other suggestions to make better use of the tool.
  • Even though there is some room for user management, I think having additional controls over certain user functionalities would be nice - like custom report sharing.
Google Analytics 360 is definitely more suited for larger organizations that have a need for higher data processing. The standard GA version could very well suffice for the majority of clients. The tool is practically the exact same in terms of UI and UX. It is all backend processing that differentiates the two.

To be clear, I do not currently use Premium (now known as 360), but I recently left a position in which we managed many client websites and used Google Analytics in doing so. We were a Google Partner and Google services re-seller (mainly Ad-words), and also used our access to complimentary Google consultations (a key feature of 360/Premium). We used Analytics to improve user experience, analyze their on-site behaviors to optimize our clients' websites, and generate content ideas for our clients based on that behavior. I continue to use Google Analytics for these purposes today, but on a much smaller scale, making it unnecessary to pay a premium. Transitioning from large scale to small scale GA use has provided an interesting perspective change.
  • In my opinion, the best feature of 360/Premium is the access to Google consultants for insights into your analytics, conversions, etc. Being able to talk directly to the people who can help you "win" at Google is very valuable, especially if you are feeling things out. They help point you in the right direction and help you figure out what to focus on.
  • Large scale analytics. Google Analytics 360 is extremely powerful, but you're really only using this if you are keeping tabs on many relatively high-traffic websites.
  • Many different metrics, measurables, etc. (hundreds, maybe?) can give you an amazing amount of information about how people are finding your site and what they're looking at when they get there.
  • Faster refresh rate than the standard version, which can be valuable if you have highly dynamic strategies that operate with a little more urgency.
  • As far as I can tell, this is the ultimate large scale analytics platform. It does so much and can be a very powerful tool. Maybe it's overwhelming for newbies, but that's kinda what the pro Google consultations are for.
  • Although I've never been personally responsible for paying the GA 360 bills, I know it's very pricey ($150K/year last I checked). If your business is managing a lot of high-traffic sites, and maybe you resell other Google services, then it's probably worth it for the dashboard and integration. So... it's expensive, and by definition, not for everyone.
Well Suited: Not to sound like a broken record, but this is ideal (really ideal) for mid-size and larger firms/agencies/etc. whose revenue comes from managing/augmenting/creating many different websites that combine to command a large amount of traffic (meaning "well into the millions" in terms of monthly hits. If this is your industry, and you would describe your company as "big," then you are probably the kind of company GA 360 is made for.
Less Appropriate: If you manage a single website (like I currently do), or if you're a small-ish agency/creative firm that manages websites with combined traffic under 10-million monthly (I believe that is the cut-off). The standard version of GA is still great, but there is no need to pay extra for 360 if you are on the smaller side.

Google Analytics Premium is used by our marketing department and top executives to make critical business decisions. We use it to track our web traffic and understand where our visitors are coming from and what they are doing when they land. The reporting features allow us to stay up-to-date with our KPIs regarding marketing budgets, consumer acquisition data, and digital interactions. The software becomes the main point of reference for the entirety of our digital presence.
